Ricardo SiccuroRicardo
Siccuro was born in 1956 in His early paintings were surreal, influenced by Dali, Escher, Magritte and others. But in recent years he has developed a meticulous individual style he calls ‘figurative serpentine’, in which his richly coloured figures are formed from flowing ribbons in light and shadows on textured backgrounds. They are remarkable as three dimensional illusions that capture the contours and graceful movement of his subjects. Ricardo’s paintings have been exhibited in
galleries and art fairs in several countries in Individual Exhibitions1996 - La Coloniale, Búzios, 2001 - International Airport Tom Jobim, Rio de Janeiro.
